Surgical & Procedural Dermatology

Comprehensive range of surgical treatment for benign lesions and skin cancers.

Dr Barrett offers the

following procedures:

 

  • Mohs Micrographic Surgery

  • Skin biopsy for diagnostic purposes

  • Excision of skin cancers including basal cell carcinomas, squamous cell carcinomas and melanomas

  • Cryotherapy (freezing)

  • Phototherapy (Narrowband UVB)

  • Photodynamic therapy

  • Intralesional steroid injections

  • Scar management 

  • Iontophoresis

  • Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) botulinum toxin treatments

Dr Barrett consults at Frontier Dermatology on Tuesdays and Fridays, holds public clinics at the John Hunter Hospital,
and conducts Mohs Surgery at
Ramsay Surgical Centre Charlestown
